Margo Harris has been an international commercial lawyer for more than 20 years. Her career has involved appearing in a wide range of courts and tribunals both Australia-wide and internationally. Before coming to the Bar in 2011, she worked as a solicitor in Australia and London, including as in-house counsel at an ASX listed company. Margo’s in-depth case management experience and personable client rapport makes her a highly astute and user-friendly junior counsel.
Having aided clients, both as solicitor and barrister, in agribusiness, construction and infrastructure, energy and resources, gaming, horse racing, maritime, mining, rail, road transport, sport, telecommunications, and waste management, Margo is able to provide practical and competitive insight by making reference to her involvement in matters across a diverse range of commercial industries.
Alongside her busy practice as a barrister Margo enjoys acting as an arbitrator and mediator, assisting parties in coming to the most favorable outcome whilst avoiding the complications that come with litigation.
