Matthew Jones KC (leading Mr M Downes) appeared for the Controlling Trustees in the Inspector-General in Bankruptcy’s application under section 222(1) of the Bankruptcy Act 1966 to set aside the personal insolvency agreement of Mr Beau Hartnett. This was the first occasion in which the Inspector-General had exercised that power. Although the Personal Insolvency Agreement was set aside, the Inspector-General was ordered to pay part of the Controlling Trustees’ costs.
