Where the Attorney General for the State of Queensland directed the State Coroner to reopen the initial inquest in to the death of an individual after his disappearance under the Coroners Act 1958. The applicant sought declarations that the decision to reopen the inquest was unlawful; orders quashing the reopening and setting them aside; and an order referring the matter to the State Coroner with directions that he consider holding a new inquest under the Coroners Act 2003 (Qld).
