Matthew Jones appeared, pro bono, on an appeal for Tamil woman seeking asylym in Australia based on a fear of sexual and physical assault of herself and her daughters. The main issue in the appeal was whether the appellant had provided “credible personal information” in relation to her complaints within the meaning of section 473DD of the Migration Act 1958.
