Readers
Level Twenty Seven Chambers offers accommodation for a number of readers (barristers in their first year of practice) each year. Each reader’s position is for a period of 12 months, usually commencing in about May or October to coincide with the completion of the Bar Practice Course.
Applications for readership at Level Twenty Seven Chambers should generally be submitted to us 12 months before the applicant wishes to commence. This is a guide only and applications for readership may be considered at other times. All applications for readership will be assessed on their merits and treated in confidence. All eligible applicants are encouraged to apply. Level Twenty Seven Chambers is pleased to be a signatory to the Law Council of Australia’s Diversity & Equality Charter.
Successful applicants are encouraged to read with a member of Level Twenty Seven Chambers and another barrister in other chambers.
