A defamation matter where the defendant applied pursuant to r 483(1) of the UCPR for preliminary determination that none of the words it published in fact conveyed any of the imputations pleaded by the plaintiffs in the proceeding. The plaintiffs complain that an ASIC press release concerning action taken against a financial services licensee defamed them by association.
