The Applicant sought an extension of time and judicial review of a decision by a delegate of the Native Title Tribunal not to register the Applicant’s claim. The State of Queensland was the second respondent. The State resisted the application on the basis that the claim did not satisfy the requirements of s 190B and 190C of the Native Title Act. The Court accepted the State’s submissions concerning judicial review and dismissed the application.
