The applicants in these proceedings challenged the grant of a water licence under the Water Act 1992 (NT) to access groundwater for the Singleton Horticulture Project. The proposed project is about 380 km north of Alice Springs, Northern Territory.
In both proceedings, Scott McLeod KC and Matthew Wilkinson acted for the holder of the water licences, the second respondent (Fortune Agribusiness Funds Management Pty Ltd), instructed by Ward Keller.
