Paul McQuade QC and Kristi Riedel will provide a session titled ‘Damages for Loss of Opportunity – The Essentials’ at the Gold Coast District Law Association (GCDLA). This will be an overview of claims for loss of opportunity damages. The session will discuss the key principles and some of the evidentiary and pleading issues which typically arise when such claims are made. It will also involve an analysis of some authorities to illustrate the application of the principles and evidentiary issues.
