ACICA (Australian Centre for International Commercial Arbitration) will convene an in person symposium at Corrs Chambers Westgarth’s Brisbane office Wednesday 4 May to “…explore the key trading, strategic and development relationship between Australia and its closest neighbours with a focus on the types of commercial disputes that may arise in that context, how best to manage them and the role that Australia and Australian practitioners play in the provision of an efficient international dispute resolution framework.”
The issues raised will be of important relevance to lawyers, corporate counsel, arbitrators, mediators, business professionals and academics.
Senator Amanda Stoker, Assistant Minister to the Attorney General, will provide the welcome keynote before Deborah Tomkinson (ACICA) hosts the conversation on the topics at play with Joshua Paffey (Corrs Chambers Westgarth), Shane Doyle QC (Level Twenty Seven Chambers) and Anthony Durkan (JX Nippon Oil & Gas Exploitation Co).
The full event details and registration are available on the event flyer and ACICA website.
