Legally Bound is a meeting of law students, legal practitioners and advisors, in association with The Legal Forecast Creative, to discuss non-fiction and fiction texts which raise issues impacting the law. This is a friendly, non-political and inclusive group, as such conversation will focus on how the texts provide thought on how the legal system and those practising within it can operate optimally.
Our meeting on Wednesday 25 August will look at Tom Wolfe’s ‘Bonfire of the Vanities‘ and Charles Dickens’ ‘Bleak House‘. Attendees are invited to familiarise themselves with one or both works.
This event will run both in person and remotely. Please RSVP using the form below and email Tamara McCombe (tamara.mccombe@level27chambers.com.au) if you intend to join the meeting in person at Level Twenty Seven Chambers.
Details of how to join the session remotely will be emailed the day before – contact Tamara McCombe if you have any technical questions.
Drinks and light nibbles will be provided to those attending the event in person.
