Mr Davies was accused of criminal offences arising under the Trade Practices Act 1974 (Cth). He was accused of having aided, abetted, counselled or procured an offence by a company of which he was a director. I prosecuted the case for the ACCC. Mr Davies was convicted. This case was significant as the first prosecution of its kind to be contested in the Federal Court.
