Ben has a general commercial, civil, and public law practice, with a particular interest, and expertise, in private law remedies.
Ben has lectured private law at the University of Oxford and the University of Cambridge. Ben has also worked as an Associate at Jones Day in its commercial litigation practice and, in 2018, he served as an Associate to Justice Anthe Philippides of the Queensland Court of Appeal.
Ben holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Law from the University of Oxford, Master of Laws (First Class) from the University of Cambridge, and Bachelor of Laws (First Class) and Bachelor of Commerce from The University of Queensland. His doctorate was on compensatory remedies in private law.
Ben’s academic work has been published in edited collections as well as leading peer-reviewed scholarly journals, including the Oxford Journal of Legal Studies, Cambridge Law Journal, and Law Quarterly Review.
