Florence Chen appeared for the respondent, instructed by Crown Law.
The Applicant sought a review of the Respondent’s decision to issue the Applicant with a negative notice (now an exclusion) from working with people with a disability under the Disability Services Act 2006 (Qld), which prevented the Applicant from obtaining a “yellow card”. On the basis that the Applicant had committed a serious offence of obtaining financial advantage, the Tribunal upheld the Respondent’s decision to issue a negative notice.
