The Law Council of Australia developed a Gender Equitable Briefing Policy in 2016 as a “…commitment to taking measures that ensure a level playing field for all members of the Australian legal profession.” In aid of this commitment, Herbert Smith Freehills Brisbane is hosting its annual Gender Equitable Briefing networking event on Wednesday 23 October. This year’s event will take the form of a comedy debate on the topic of “Should the corporate world adopt a four-day work week?” Claire Schneider and Mei Barnes will join a barrister team opposing a team put forward by Herbert Smith Freehills.
Date: Wednesday 23 October
Time: 6-8.30 pm
Venue: The Grove, Level 32, 480 Queen Street, Brisbane
