Level Twenty Seven Chambers hosted a webinar on behalf of the Society of Construction Law Australia (SoCLA) on Wednesday 15 July 1230 AEST. Sam McCarthy joined the panel for Avoiding hammer blows to programming analysis in delay disputes. SoCLA Director and Chair of the Events Subcommittee, Sean Brady, hosted the session which was chaired by Petrina McPherson (Senior Associate, MinterEllison). Sam’s fellow panelists included William Kerr (Principal, HKA) and Jeremie Witt (Partner, Cameron McKenna).
The panelists discussed common problem areas with delay expert evidence, moving through the processes from expert selection to cross-examination, as well as strategies to ensure the preparation of persuasive and accessible delay analysis. The focus of Sam’s contribution was ‘Cross Examination of Delay Experts’.
