Our barristers Matthew Hickey and Bianca Kabel joined the Society of Construction Law (SoCLA) Australia on Thursday 30 April to provide webinar with the most up to date information on a state by state basis regarding recent changes to security of payment regimes and the effects of COVID-19 induced legislation. Attendees left the webinar informed of what is and might be when it comes to securing payment for construction projects of all sizes and stages of development. As such, lawyers and project advisors were on top of the crucial information needed to guide clients during these fast changing times. The session was hosted by Sean Brady, SoCLA’s Director and Chair of the Events Subcommittee.
