The inquest into the deaths of four people, who were killed in tragic circumstances on the Thunder River Rapids Ride at Dreamworld on 25 October 2016, involved 59 witnesses and was conducted over 6 weeks.
It explored technical, engineering, management, regulatory and other systems failures, all of which the Coroner found contributed to the catastrophe.
The Coroner’s findings said, “the gravity, scope and complexity of this tragedy at Australia’s largest Theme Park is unparalleled in Queensland’s history”.
