An appeal to the Land Court under s 155 of the Land Valuation Act 2010. The appellant brought the case as an objector to the respondent’s statutory valuation of the property, and sought for the valuation to be reduced. At the hearing, both the valuer for the appellant and the valuer for the respondent arrived at an agreed valuation of the land. Consequently, the appeal was allowed and an Order was made to reduce the valuation of the land in question.
Roger Traves QC and Samuel McCarthy appeared on behalf of the appellant, instructed by Colin Biggers & Paisley.
