Proceedings related to Murphy Operator & Ors v Gladstone Ports Corporation & Anor (No 4) [2019] QSC 228. The plaintiff served notice of non-party disclosure on the respondents which the respondents filed an objection to. The plaintiff was applying for lift of the stay imposed on the objection arguing that the scope of the notice was not too broad as alleged by the respondents. Other issues under consideration was whether the production of the documents would be too onerous and whether the requested documents were subject to confidentiality requirements.
Michael May (with LWL Armstrong QC) appeared for the applicants, instructed by Clyde & Co.
Sean Russell appeared for the respondent, instructed by Crown Law.
