7-11 November 2022 will see a series of events take place in Melbourne and online for ACICA‘s Australian Arbitration Week.
Level Twenty Seven Chambers and Norton Rose Fulbright will host ‘How can we deal with difficult issues of procedure and expert evidence in arbitration?’ which will be in the format of a mock arbitration and panel discussion. By way of a fictitious dispute, barristers from Level Twenty Seven Chambers, solicitors from Norton Rose Fulbright and experts from McGrathNicol, as well as an experienced arbitrator, will demonstrate potential issues that may arise in procedure and expert evidence, including: contract cooling off periods, rules of evidence, disclosure issues, the presentation and reception of expert evidence. Attendees will leave with options and takeaways garnered from recent awards in the Asia Pacific.
